Why hypnotherapy?

I embarked on the journey of hypnotherapy after years of struggling to feel empowered and to create lasting change in my life. Despite my efforts, I found myself repeatedly slipping back into old patterns whenever life threw a curveball, leaving me frustrated and stagnant. What I discovered was a fundamental truth: willpower alone isn't enough. Many believe they can simply wish for change or rely on sheer determination, but they overlook a crucial aspect: the subconscious mind. Driving most of our behavior, the subconscious operates on outdated programming and does not update. Without aligning our subconscious with our conscious desires, lasting change remains elusive. It's akin to building on shaky ground—eventually, the structure collapses. Hypnotherapy offers a profound solution by rewiring those subconscious patterns, laying a sturdy foundation for sustainable transformation. Don't underestimate its power; it could mean the difference between progress and constant obstacles in your journey towards inner peace and a flourishing life.

Here’s where hypnotherapy comes in: it makes use of hypnosis or a trance state to get to the root of an issue. It works on creating new thought patterns and updating beliefs to help you achieve your goal.

Hypnotherapy works with your subconscious as well as your conscious mind to make change easier, faster, and long-lasting. It works more quickly than traditional talk therapy as we are directly updating your subconscious. You should start seeing results after three sessions.

The job of the hypnotherapist is to gently guide you into a state of hypnosis, and together we work on removing any blocks that stand between you and your goal.

Session 1:

Getting comfortable with trance

In the first session we ease into hypnosis and get you, the client, familiar with the state of hypnosis.

We give your subconscious the job of bring forth anything that we need to know to achieve your goal more easily.

We do a gentle visualization exercise to being the process of creating change and start creating a dialogue with your subconscious.

Session 2:

Diving into the subconscious mind

Once you are familiar with hypnosis we can begin getting to the root of the issue.

We will begin looking for the initial experience that caused you subconscious to form a belief, a pattern, or a habit in order to update it.

We will work towards getting you to your desired destination, as well as releasing anything that is holding you back.

Session 3 and beyond:

Addressing all the puzzle pieces

Once we have addressed the majority of the pieces in achieving your goals you begin to gain momentum. After three sessions you should be seeing some results, although some goals may take a little longer.

We may have to do some uncovering work to locate any hidden pieces, and often we will be addressing information that has been brought to the forefront by the subconscious mind.
